Condé Nast has confirmed Radhika Jones as the new Editor-in-Chief of Vanity Fair, succeeding Graydon Carter, who's stepping down after 25 years in the position on December 11.
Jones has previously held senior editorial roles at The New York Times, Time, and The Paris Review, and commented 'There is nothing else out there quite like Vanity Fair.... It can mix high and low, wit and gravitas, powerful narrative and irresistible photography. It has a legacy of influential reporting, unmatchable style and, above all, dedication to its readers. I am honoured to succeed Graydon Carter as editor and excited to get to work'.
